SPL PRO aluminum subframe bushings Nissan 180SX S13

Our CNC machined T6061 aluminum subframe bushings completely replace the stock bushings to eliminate free play of the subframe relative to the chassis. Solid subframe bushings will transmit more drivetrain noise to the cabin, but will greatly reduce wheel hop and improve suspension performance. And in the long run, rubber or urethane bushings will always need replacement, these aluminum bushings will last the life of your car.
Beware of cheap copies of our subframe bushings! The copies are made from our original 2003 design, our bushings are superior:
Accurately CNC machined in the USA to exact tolerances. Tolerances off by a few thousands of an inch can make the bushings near impossible to install!
USA T6061 aluminum stock.
Taper on hole for top bushing to make alignment of the subframe onto chassis studs easier.
Revised bushing height to eliminate slop on certain cars with longer threaded studs.
Correct counter bore size so the lower cup/brackets will sit flush on the bushing.
Installation notes:
Stock bushings have to be pressed/cut out from the subframe to install these aluminum bushings.
Place bushings in freezer for a few hours prior to install, in most cases the bushings will slip right in.
Bushings with counter-bore are installed on the bottom of the subframe, bushings with flat surface install on top.
